Hayla Parker Fields

Hayla Parker-Fields is an enrolled member of the Comanche Nation of Oklahoma.  She is the 18-year-old daughter of Nano Fields and Jill Parker-Fields.  Hayla is also of Wichita, Cherokee and Kiowa descent.  She has competed in numerous youth art competitions, both tribal and private organizations alike.  She has earned many accolades and recognition for her unique, individual style of artwork with her acrylic and mixed media work.  In January 2025, Hayla entered her artwork into the "taca:kira:k?ickskwa:wa:stic/We Had Dreams art by Wichita & Descendents" show, where she made her first sales as artists.  In February 2024 Hayla and her sister Sandra were invited to work with one of the co-curators, America Meredith, on the "Lighting Pathways: Matriarchs of Oklahoma Native Art" exhibit which was featured at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City.  Hayla is a freshman taking online courses at the Institute of American Indian Art, Santa Fe, New Mexico.  Hayla is also a descendant of Cynthia Ann Parker, Doc Tate Nevaquaya as well as related to Nocona and Quanah Burgess and Derek No-Sun Brown.  As she grows, Hayla is slowly becoming an accomplished artist in her respective style.  She has a lot of wonderful art to create and share, stay tuned...
