    When and where is the Red Earth Festival?

    The 40th Annual Red Earth Festival takes place August 1–2, 2026, at the Oklahoma City Convention Center, located at 100 Mick Cornett Dr, Oklahoma City, OK 73109.

    What are the festival hours?

    Saturday, August 1

    • 9:00–10:00 AM – VIP Shopping Hour

    • 10:00 AM–6:00 PM – Festival Open


    Sunday, August 2

    • 10:00 AM–4:00 PM – Festival Open

    What can I expect at the festival?

    Visitors can experience a premier Native art market featuring more than 130 Indigenous artists, live dance showcases, special competitions, cultural programming, and a youth art exhibit.

    Can I bring food or drinks?

    Outside food and beverages are not allowed inside the Convention Center, but food and drinks are available for purchase from on-site vendors.

    Can I take photos and videos?

    Personal photography is allowed, but please ask artists for permission before photographing their work. Professional photography or commercial filming use require prior approval from Red Earth.

    What items are prohibited inside the festival?

    The following are not permitted inside the Convention Center:

    • Weapons of any kind
    • Illegal substances
    • Outside alcohol
    • Pets (except trained service animals)
    • Drones or unauthorized recording equipment

    How much are tickets?

    General Admission: $15 per day


    VIP Admission (Saturday only): $20 (includes early shopping hour 9–10 AM)


    2-Day Pass: $25 General / $30 VIP

    Children 5 and under are free with a paid adult.

    Where can I buy tickets?

    Tickets can be purchased in advance on our website or at the door during the festival. Online tickets will be held at Will Call.

    Are tickets refundable or transferable?

    No. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

    Do you offer group discounts?

    Yes. Groups of 20 or more receive an automatic 20% discount when purchasing online in advance. Tribes and Tribal Organizations may use a purchase order for group tickets by contacting info@redearth.org by July 1, 2026.

    Where is the Oklahoma City Convention Center located?

    The Convention Center is located at 100 Mick Cornett Drive, Oklahoma City, OK 73109.

    Where should I park?

    The best parking options are:

    Both locations offer paid parking and have ADA-accessible spaces on each level. All parking is first come, first served.

    Can I use rideshare or valet?

    Yes. Rideshare drop-off is available at the main entrances. Valet parking is offered at nearby hotels, such as the Omni OKC, but may be limited during busy times.

    Is there accessible parking?

    Yes. ADA-accessible parking is available in both the Convention Center Parking Garage and the Scissortail Lot, located closest to elevator access. Spaces are limited and available on a first-come basis.

    How can I apply to be an artist at the festival?

    Native artists can apply through our Juried Artist Application or by invitation. Full details, deadlines, and downloadable applications are available on our website.

    What are the jury deadlines and fees?

    First Jury Deadline: December 1, 2025

    • Single Booth: $350 | Shared Booth: $400


    Final Jury Deadline: March 1, 2026

    • Single Booth: $400 | Shared Booth: $450

    Applying by the first deadline offers a lower booth fee and earlier jury notification.

    When will I know if I’m accepted?

    Jury notifications are sent by December 12, 2025 (first round) and March 13, 2026 (final round)

    Is booth sharing allowed?

    Yes. Booth sharing is encouraged to reduce costs and create a more dynamic booth. Two approved artists can share a booth and split the fee. Each artist must display at least 8 original works at the festival’s opening.

    Who can enter the art competition?

    Only approved festival artists may enter. Artists must be present in their booth for the full festival.

    How many pieces can I submit?

    Each artist may enter up to 2 pieces per category, with a maximum of 4 total entries.

    What are the competition categories?

    Categories include Basketry, Beadwork/Quillwork, Textiles, Digital & 3D Art, Painting, Sculpture, Jewelry (Traditional & Contemporary), Photography, and more. Full descriptions are available in the Art Competition Guidelines.

    Will there be cultural demonstrations or artist talks?

    Yes. As part of the 40th Anniversary, we’re featuring live artist demonstrations, talks, workshops, and storytelling throughout the weekend. Participating artists can submit proposals to be part of these programs.

    What are the dance showcase times?

    Saturday:

    Are youth programs included?

    Yes. The Youth Art Competition and exhibit will be on view in the main hall throughout the weekend.

    Is the festival ADA accessible?

    Yes. The Oklahoma City Convention Center is fully ADA accessible. Accessible ramps are available at all three main entrances, and elevators reach every floor. All restrooms are equipped with accessible stalls, sinks, and touch-free entrances. Braille signage is installed throughout the building, and emergency systems include both audio and visual alerts.

    Where is accessible parking located?

    ADA-accessible parking is available in the Convention Center Garage at 15 SW 4th St and in the Scissortail Lot, located directly south of the building. Spaces are available on each level of the garage near the elevators and are first come, first served.

    Are mobility aids available on site?

    The Convention Center does not provide mobility equipment rentals, so guests are encouraged to bring any necessary mobility aids (such as wheelchairs, walkers, or scooters) with them. All main walkways and exhibit areas are fully accessible.

    Are service animals allowed?

    Yes. Trained service animals are welcome inside the Convention Center with proper supervision. Emotional support animals or pets are not permitted.

    Are nursing rooms available?

    Yes. Private, secure nursing rooms are available on multiple levels of the Convention Center:

    • First Level (between Exhibit Halls C and D)
    • Second Level (near Meeting Room 208)
    • Fourth Level (near Ballroom A and restrooms)

    Are there family restrooms or changing stations?

    Family restrooms are located on every level. A universal changing station that can support over 300 lbs is located in the second-floor nursing area for caregivers who need additional support.
