Festival Art Awards Celebration
Begin your Festival weekend by joining artists, collectors, sponsors, and supporters for an evening celebrating the award-winning artwork of the 40th Annual Red Earth Festival.
The Awards Celebration recognizes outstanding Native artists from across the United States and features the presentation of the Festival's top honors, including the Kathleen Everett Upshaw Award, the Grand Award and President's Award.

Welcome the young singers and dancers of the Next Generation White Buffalo Dance Group as they share an inspiring presentation filled with song, language, prayer, cultural identity, and tradition.

Panel Discussion Gathering of Ink: Indigenous Tattooing
Indigenous body design practitioners and educators will share personal stories and explore how ancestral and contemporary tattooing can express identity, healing, resilience, and cultural revitalization.

for a discussion about her original stage production Native in America, exploring identity, belonging, and the experiences of Native women growing up away from their Tribal communities.
