D. Jill Parker-Fields is an enrolled member of the Comanche Nation of Oklahoma. Jill is also of Wichita and Kiowa descent. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Native American Studies from the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma in Chickasha, Oklahoma. She has been a performing artist throughout her life dancing tap, jazz, ballet (pointe), flamenco and traditional dances within her tribal gatherings. Jill began painting a few years ago to spend time with her children Hayla and Sandra Parker-Fields and to relax; her daughters are accomplished artists. Mrs. Parker-Fields has no formal training in painting but follows the lead of her daughters as they paint together. She has entered and placed in a few awards in local adult art competitions. In January 2025, Jill entered her artwork into the "taca:kira:k?ickskwa:wa:stic/We Had Dreams art by Wichita & Descendents" show. Mrs. Parker-Fields is also a descendant of Cynthia Ann Parker, Doc Tate Nevaquaya as well as related to Nocona and Quanah Burgess and Derek No-Sun Brown.
