Kingman Turquoise and Spiny Oyster Shell Pendant and Ring Set

Kingman Turquoise and Spiny Oyster Shell Pendant and Ring Set

Artist: Ray “Duck” Garcia (Red Earth Honored One 2025)

This vibrant pendant and ring set by Ray “Duck” Garcia combines Kingman turquoise with orange spiny oyster shell in a design rooted in San Felipe Pueblo silversmithing. The pendant centers on a long turquoise cabochon set in sterling silver. Six oval spiny oyster stones frame the turquoise, adding warmth and contrast. Sterling scrollwork and a row of silver beads complete the layout, giving the pendant depth and symmetry. The piece measures about 3 3/4 inches long and 1 3/4 inches wide, creating a strong visual anchor.

The matching ring features a single oval spiny oyster stone that measures about 1 inch in length. It is set in a clean sterling bezel with a polished band that keeps the focus on the stone’s rich orange tone. The ring mirrors the pendant’s accent color for a cohesive presentation.

Together, the set blends bright turquoise, warm shell, and Garcia’s detailed metalwork into a coordinated and expressive pairing.
