    This handmade raven ornament was created by Choctaw artist Carolyn Bernard Young.

    The Raven is known to represent vision & magic, but many tribes call him the “trickster”.  Often confused with a crow, they are two different birds. They are difficult to tell apart, but the Raven is much larger.

    Hand-cut, carved ornament made of white stoneware. Covered with black slip, then carved. A length of red hemp is added for hanging. Individually gift boxed for safe-keeping, or for giving.

    A length of red hemp makes it easy to hang on the tree or display elsewhere in your home.
