    This handmade bear ornament was created by Choctaw artist Carolyn Bernard Young.

    The bear is a symbol of strength, courage and balance; a reminder to fight for what is right, and to restore balance in communities.

    Hand-cut, carved ornament made of white stoneware. Covered with black slip, then carved. A length of red hemp is added for hanging. Individually gift boxed for safe-keeping, or for giving.
