Thank you for attending the 38th Red Earth Festival!
The event was a great success, and we are grateful for everyone who came out to support us and our incredible artists.
Over the course of the Festival, there were a multitude of special events, including the Red Earth Award Ceremony and Celebration Dinner, special dance performances, art and music performances as well as demonstrations and lectures. These events offered a glimpse into the rich and diverse Native art and culture, set against the backdrop of the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum.
The event wouldn't have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors, including The Chickasaw Nation, Oklahoma Arts Council, National Endowment for the Arts, Allied Arts, Chickasaw Community Bank, Vickie Norick, Kirkpatrick Family Fund, OKC Convention & Visitors Bureau, Oklahoma's News 4, Tinker Federal Credit Union, and Winton Law.
The Festival was held from 10 am to 5 pm over spring break March 22nd through the 24th. Some highlights from the schedule included performances by the Central Plains Dance Troupe, The Chickasaw Nation, The Metro Caddo Cultural Club, The Cheyenne & Arapaho as well as the some of the FallFest Youth Powwow Winners, along with a variety of other artist demonstrations and performances.
