Johnny Hawk attended OK State University and has painted most of his life as a career. He paints with acrylic and watercolor. He has won numerous awards during his career, including recognition at the Cherokee National Museum, Five Civilized Tribes Museum, The Philbrook Museum of Art, The Heard Museum as well as many others. He participated in the Franco-American Institute Exhibition in France. Many of his artwork include spiritual or inspirational messages that add uniqueness and meaning to his beautiful art.
