His works, characterized by detailed pencil drawings and skillfully executed watercolors, oils, and acrylics, have been exhibited internationally and are highly collected in the United States. In recognition of his contributions to art and culture, Dacon was inducted into the Muscogee (Creek) Nation Hall of Fame in 2015.
