First Fire Tender Print

First Fire Tender

In First Fire Tender, Cherokee artist Alix Robinson depicts a water spider tending an ember inside a water bubble on the floor of a pond. Layered greens and blues surround the spider, while warm reds and oranges draw the eye to the glowing ember.

This print reproduces Robinson’s original acrylic painting, sharing the artist’s interpretation of the first fire in a small, accessible format.
