A grand parade, unlike any other, opens the Red Earth Fallfest in downtown Oklahoma City on the morning on Saturday October 19, 2024.

The Red Earth Parade, an unparalleled spectacle that will see the city streets pulsating with energy and color. This dynamic display of community spirit involves a diverse array of participants. Governmental, civic, and tribal leaders, along with tribal princesses, honor guards, native drum groups, school groups, dancers, and civic organizations will all contribute to the rich tapestry of the event. Making the Red Earth Parade one of America’s most unique gatherings.

As the echoes of the parade drums fade, the rhythm of the event will continue to resonate through the signature Youth Powwow. The vibrant competition where hundreds of young dancers throughout Oklahoma, in their tribal regalia, will compete in eight distinct dance categories. The male dancers will captivate the audience with Fancy, Grass, Traditional, and Straight dances, while the female dancers will enchant with Fancy Shawl, Cloth Dress, Jingle Dress, and Buckskin performances.

Age Groups include Tiny Tots, Boy and Girl 6 to 12 years and Teens 13 to 18 years.
