    Untitled Poster Print (1998)

This 18" W x 24" H poster print, titled "Autumn's Lodge", is a captivating work by Oklahoma artist John A. White. Known for his evocative Southwest landscapes, White brings to life the serene beauty of autumn with masterful watercolor techniques.

John A. White, a native of Anadarko, Oklahoma, began his artistic journey with formal watercolor training in high school. He refined his skills over twelve years as an illustrator and draftsman for Oklahoma Gas & Electric in Oklahoma City. In 1984, White transitioned to a full-time art career, earning acclaim for his depictions of Native American themes and Southwestern vistas. His works are part of permanent collections, including the Oklahoma State Capitol's Supreme Court Building and Lake Murray Lodge. White also shares his expertise as a watercolor instructor at Murray State College and The Charles B. Goddard Art Studios in Ardmore, Oklahoma.
