Every Tree Tells a Different Story

Each holiday season, the Red Earth Art Center fills with trees unlike any others in Oklahoma.

Participating Tribal Nations and Native organizations create their own displays using handmade ornaments, artwork, materials and designs that reflect their communities.

The result is an exhibition that brings many Native communities together in one place while allowing each tree to remain distinctly its own.

Look closely. The details are part of the story.
    Look, Read & Discover

There Is More to Each Tree Than What You See

TreeFest is designed to be explored. Educational signage displayed alongside the trees helps visitors learn more about the Tribal Nations and Native communities represented throughout the exhibition.

As you move from tree to tree, take time to read about the people and communities behind the display and look again at the handmade ornaments, artwork and details with that knowledge in mind.

It turns a beautiful holiday display into an opportunity for visitors of all ages to learn something new about Oklahoma's Native cultures.
