Jay explores how removing or intensifying light can change what we notice. His infrared images reveal tones and surfaces that sit just beyond normal sight. Cyanotypes capture the exact moment sunlight touched the page and record patterns shaped by both chemistry and time. His glass vessels bend and reflect color as viewers move around them, creating a sense of motion across the surface.
Playing with Light invites guests to slow down and look closely. Each piece highlights subtle changes that can transform our understanding of place, memory, and material.
