    Celebrating Creativity and Culture

Over the course of several months, these talented young artists participated in a photography course that taught them essential skills in capturing motion and storytelling through the lens.

The culmination of their efforts is a series of photographs taken at a powwow, reflecting both their newly acquired technical abilities and their deep connection to their cultural heritage.

The exhibition is a platform for these students to share their unique perspectives with the community, offering a visual narrative that bridges tradition and modern life.

This unique opportunity was offered at no cost, allowing these students to explore the world of photography in a supportive and educational environment. The course covered fundamental photography concepts such as camera handling, lighting, and composition, and included hands-on sessions at locations like a skate park and a powwow. Through this experience, students not only learned the technical aspects of photography but also reconnected with traditional ceremonies and cultural practices.
