    Artist Victoria McKinney, Echota Cherokee

In Native American lore the Hummingbird symbolized energy, was a messenger of joy and was believed to awaken the medicine in flowers. It was called the New World Bird by European Explorers because it was native only to the Americas. The designs that make up the Hummingbirds were found on artifacts from the Spiro Mounds in Oklahoma

This print is matted and signed by the artist.

    Measures 14" x 11" including mat.
