Red Earth Youth Art Competition
Presented by James H. & Madalynne Norick Foundation

Students from throughout the Oklahoma and the region will display their original works of art while competing for cash prizes during the Red Earth Youth Art Competition.  All artwork submitted will be on exhibit at the Red Earth Festival in Oklahoma City, June 18, 19 & 20, 2010.  Artwork will be accepted by Native American youth ages 9-18.

The Red Earth Youth Art Competition is divided into three age groups - 9-12 years, 13-15 years and 16-18 years.  Participants can enter seven art categories including pottery, painting/ drawing/ graphics, sculpture, basketry, beadwork, cultural items and jewelry. Prize money is awarded to the top three winners in each division category, along with a "Best of Show" award.

Students interested in competing, or teachers seeking further information may
download a Registration Form Here or you can obtain forms when you drop-off your artwork at the competition. 

NOTE: Since the attached form is not a carbon copy, as the originals will be, you will need to fill out the upper and lower portions to use as duplicates.  Bring the full sheet with you to registration and we will sign and cut in two. If you would like to obtain original carbon forms, you may make arrangements to pick those up at the Red Earth office.
