Red Earth, Inc. awarded prestigious grant from Institute of Museum and Library Services
An $81,289 grant from the federal Institute of Museum and Library
Services (IMLS) awarded to Red Earth, Inc. will allow the non-profit
organization to begin implementing portions of a new educational
initiative - Red Earth R-E-A-C-H (Resources for Educating in Arts,
Culture & Heritage). The initiative is designed to significantly
strengthen and expand year-round educational programming and outreach
at the non-profit museum. The award will allow Red Earth to begin

The Board of Directors for Red Earth, Inc has elected a new slate of
officers for FY 2008 who will oversee the operations of the Red Earth
Museum at Omniplex and the additional programs of the organization,

Red Earth, Inc receives $1,800 grant from Oklahoma City Community Foundation
Red Earth, Inc. has received a $1,800 grant from the Oklahoma City
Community Foundation and its Capacity Building Grants Fund. The grant
will be used to purchase cash registers and pay for costs of data entry
and IT access for the annual Red Earth Festival. The grant will allow
Red Earth, Inc to increase its efforts to promote the rich traditions
of American Indian arts and cultures through education, a premier

Anoatubby named 2007 Red Earth Ambassador of the Year
Bill Anoatubby, Governor of the Chickasaw Nation, is the Red Earth
Ambassador of the Year for 2007. His contribution towards promoting
pride and presenting amore positive image of Native American heritage
will be recognized during the 2007 Red Earth Festival parade and during
special ceremonies scheduled June 1 during the opening Grand Entry of
the Red Earth Festival at the Cox Convention Center in downtown
